In July of this past year, the Nickelodeon welcomed Columbia native, Andy Smith, as its new Executive Director. On his plate for 2012 - a historic move to a new home on Main Street that will have two screens and triple the seating capacity. Also, an Indie Grits festival in April that has grown from five to ten days and will branch out beyondmovies to include music, crafts, food and even a technology partnership with Converge SE.
