Professional Printers, Inc. and RL Bryan Company Create Dynamic Partnership
COLUMBIA, SC - October 19, 2011 - Challenging economic times can create new opportunities for success. In that spirit, the RL Bryan Company and Professional Printers, Inc. have agreed to a new strategic alliance that allows RL Bryan to develop its fulfillment and book business by partnering with Professional Printers, Inc. to handle their commercial printing sales.
In addition, Professional Printers, Inc. has acquired RL Bryan's 6-color Heidelberg heat-set web press, 6-color Heidelberg 40" LXCD 102 sheet-fed press with aqueous coater, and
several other machines for finishing. Operations will remain active at the Graystone Blvd. location, and Professional Printers, Inc. will employ approximately a dozen of RL Bryan's production personnel.
The agreement reached frees RL Bryan to grow with the challenging future of educational resources and electronic media. Professional Printers, Inc. is honored to be selected to carry on the proud tradition of excellence that has made the RL Bryan Company a part of South Carolina history for over 160 years.
