Young Leaders Society Hosts Board Training Event
COLUMBIA, SC - November 3, 2009 - On November 3, the Young Leaders Society hosted a board training event that featured some of the Midlands most prominent community leaders and volunteers as they discussed various opportunities for non-profit board leadership.
More than 75 young people came out to The Hilton downtown eager to learn about the most effective ways to network in the non-profit sector and how to make the best of positions they serve in.

Charles Weathers was anything but typical as he shared his insight on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Board Members. The crowd was highly engaged throughout the breakout session and even enjoyed some laughs.
