About the RMHC Scholars Program in Memory of Sally B. Hardy
Sally B. Hardy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an educator on the local and national level and believed everyone deserved a quality education. Under her leadership as board chair, the Ronald McDonald House of Columbia opened its doors in 1983 and as a result, thousands of children and their families have been helped throughout the years. The RMHC Scholars Program in Memory of Sally. B. Hardy opens the door to higher education for graduating high school seniors from Midlands area high schools who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. The goal of the program is simple: to identify and invest in future leaders.
