Voterheads Announces Launch Party on October 30 at IT-oLogy

COLUMBIA, SC - Voterheads.com announced today that its official launch party will be held in the lobby and theater of IT-oLogy at 1301 Main Street, downtown Columbia, Tuesday, October 30th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  The public is invited, but space is limited, so reservations are encouraged at www.voterheads.eventbrite.com.
 
StartSomeGood.com, the crowd-funding site for social entrepreneurs (and a sister company of Kickstarter.com) recently launched the fundraising campaign for Voterheads. A citizen participation/voter education website, voterheads.com is dedicated to changing the way America votes and participates in government.
 
Karl McCollester, Voterheads CEO, explains, “We're raising funds to help us accelerate development and get our beta version out for Richland and Lexington Counties.”
 
Earlier this year, Columbia City Council passed a resolution endorsing the Voterheads venture and promised to work closely with the organization to help accomplish its goals.
