Columbia Craft Beer Lovers Prepare For First-Ever Wobtoberfest
World of Beer The Vista to Host Two Day Beer & Music Festival

COLUMBIA, SC - October 19, 2012 - Columbia residents grab your steins, World of Beer’s WOBtoberfest is coming to town! World of Beer (WOB) The Vista will be hosting its first-ever WOBtoberfest celebration Friday, October 19th from 2:00pm to 2:00am.
Far from your average October beer festival, WOBtoberfest The Vista will feature beers from RJ Rockers, Westbrook, Thomas Creek and more. World of Beer, which offers more than 500 beers from over 40 different countries, will have a limited amount of one-liter Spaten stein mugs for sale with a fill up, so plan on arriving early on Friday.
“We are so excited to bring the first-ever WOBtoberfest to the great state of South Carolina,” said General Manager, Dan Albert. “We have been anticipating this event for a long time, and can’t wait to show everyone a great time!”
Hungry guests need not worry, as there will be bratwursts, pretzels and other German style fare available for purchase onsite.
Attendees will enjoy live music, including performances by Dr. Jr. and Phonic Café. WOB The Vista will have many games, including corn hole, stein hoisting with Sam Adams, and giant Jenga.
