Midlands Technical College and SCMEP to Host Masterclass Workshop to Help Companies Implement a Business Growth System
COLUMBIA, SC - October 31, 2012 - South Carolina's leading economic development engines along with statewide private consulting groups will host a Business Innovation Masterclass Workshop in Columbia on Wednesday, October 31. This half-day workshop will teach companies how to implement a sustainable system to introduce new products or services, expand into to new markets, and launch new messaging campaigns. The workshop covers business innovation strategy, marketing, and modeling and simulation for growth. Executives and upper level managers from manufacturing and distribution companies are encouraged to attend.
The workshop facilitators are representatives from the South Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (SCMEP), who will help participants with developing better business innovation strategies to benefit companies. Companies will learn how Nike, Hewlett Packard, Walt Disney, Procter & Gamble, Slumberger and Ford Motor Company have applied this proven system to generate sustainable business growth. The Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology (SiMT) will present how virtual simulations and 3-D modeling technology can boost your employee training and product marketing effectiveness to help drive business growth. Strategic Marketing International (SMI) will present marketing communications strategies to promote business innovations in a quickly changing electronic world. The workshop will include presentations, demonstrations, and one-on-one breakout sessions to help apply the learnings to your business.
The workshop will take place at Midlands Technical College, 151 Powell Drive, Columbia, SC 20203, in the Executive Conference Center, Room CT 109.
