YMCA of Columbia announces new Director of Communications, Megan Plott

COLUMBIA, SC - September 1, 2010 – The YMCA of Columbia is excited to announce Megan Plott has joined the YMCA family as the
Director of Communications for the association. She comes to the YMCA from the Katie and Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center where
she assisted the executive director in all aspects of non-profit management. Prior to her time at the JCC, Megan was the Events and
Communications Coordinator for Lake Carolina Development.

“We couldn’t have found a better person for this role. The combination of Megan’s knowledge of the communications industry and the Columbia community are exactly what we need at the Y right now,” said Bryan Madden, CEO of the YMCA of Columbia.

Megan is a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts in Public Relations and has maintained an active role in the Columbia community since her time at USC.
