COLUMBIA, SC - March 15, 2010 - The Children's Trust of South Carolina announces the student artist winners for Region 6 of The Picasso Project.
Middle School Divison:
First Place: Abby Bartmnan, 6th grade, Heathwood Hall. artwork untitled.

Second Place: Maddy Parrott, 7th grade, Heathwood Hall. artwork untitled.
Third Place: Cheyenne Lucas, 6th grade, Sandhills Intermediate. artwork untitled.
High School Division:
First Place: Patrick Kim, 12th grade, Spring Valley High School. artwork untitled.
Second Place: Fredy Ahuejote, 11th grade, White Knoll High School. artwork untitled.
Third Place: Annie Niehaus, 12th grade, Spring Valley High School. "Imminent"
Region 6 includes the counties of Kershaw, Lexington, Richland and Sumter.
In its 5th year, The Picasso Project is a statewide student art competition open to South Carolina middle and high school students from public, private and home schools as well as after school art programs. The competition encourages philanthropic values and community involvement in South Carolina students. All participating students, teachers and parents/guardians are invited to attend a state reception on May 15, 2010.
