COLUMBIA, SC - March 10, 2010 - Henry Roe of Colliers Keenan has brokered the lease renewal for Merrill Lynch at 1224 Sumter Street, also known as the Keenan Building.  Merrill Lynch has committed to stay in their current 23,000 square foot office through 2015.

Roe, who is the leasing representative for the Keenan Building, states, "Merrill Lynch had several landlords within the CBD trying to lure them to other properties.  Extremely competitive rental rates, prominent building signage and close proximity to the State Capitol Complex and private dining clubs were key factors that persuaded Merrill Lynch to remain in their current location."
