COLUMBIA, SC - March 5, 2010 - Carter Goble Lee (CGL), an international company headquartered in Columbia, SC, is pleased to announce Chloe Jaco, Don Boan, and Ben Crooks have been named principals in the firm.
Chloe Schuler Jaco, AICP, LEED AP, a native of Columbia, SC, joined CGL in 1988. Jaco received a BS in Finance and Insurance magna cum laude from of the University of South Carolina. Her specialty is in government and justice facilities master planning with memberships in the American Planning Association, American Correctional Association, National Association for Court Management, and US Green Building Council. She serves on the Olympia Cemetery Board.
Don Boan, CPA, a native of Columbia, SC, received a BS in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. Boan joined the firm in 1994 and has more than 25 years of financial management and operations experience in public and private industry. A registered CPA in the State of South Carolina, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association.
Ben Crooks, a native of Baton Rouge, La., joined CGL in 2004 and has over 20 years of law enforcement, military, and corrections experience. His specialty is correctional operational and assessment. He earned a BS from Louisiana State University in Sociology/Criminal Justice. Crooks is a member of the National Correctional Association and the American Jail Association. He is a certified instructor for all levels of Military Police training in the US Army Reserves. An Eagle Scout, he volunteers as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
