COLUMBIA, SC – November 16, 2009 – City Center Partnership is pleased to announce that David C. Lockwood, III, has been appointed Chairman of the Board for the organization.  Lockwood is Senior Vice President and Principal of Colliers Keenan, one of the Southeast’s largest and oldest exclusively commercial real estate firms, and a Principal of LCK Construction Services.

Lockwood’s involvement in the local and national organizations is extensive.  Locally, he has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association as well as President of the South Carolina REALTORS Association.  He serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Juvenile Justice, City Center Partnership, EngenuitySC and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. He serves as President of the Sandhills School Board of Trustees.   Nationally, Lockwood has served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) and SIOR Educational Foundation, and was Director of the National Association of REALTORS® from 2005 to 2008.  He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the National Association of REALTORS.  Lockwood has received many honors throughout his career including REALTOR® of the Year in 1999 and the President’s Excellence Program Award by CCRA in 1996.
