Heathwood Hall announces Board of Trustees

COLUMBIA, SC - October 13, 2009 – Heathwood Hall Episcopal School today announced its 2009-2010 Board of Trustees. E. Wade Mullins III (’86), an alum and a parent of four current students at the independent school, will serve as chair.

“It’s an honor to be named chair of the Board of Trustees at Heathwood Hall – a school whose service, mission and devotion to the education of the individual child has been unwavering since its inception in 1951,” said Mullins. “As an alumnus, I know firsthand the lasting impact Heathwood Hall has on a young person’s life. As a father of four children at the school, I see the inspiration to learn instilled through Heathwood Hall’s approach to learning each day.  I look forward to working with the board to continue to support the school in every way, and further the efforts to build on its success.”

Returning along with Mullins to the Board of Trustees are: Ben D. Arnold (’85), Deborah Black, Paul Fant, Kirkman Finlay III, Michael C. Foster, M.D., Felicia Goins-Finney, D.D.S., Richard J. New Board of Trustees members include: James Avinger, Connie Leppard and Johnnie McFadden, Ph.D.
