LEXINGTON, SC - October 30, 2012 - The Children’s Miracle Network selected Midway Elementary student Seth Ewing as their 2012 South Carolina Champion.

The Champions program honors remarkable children from the United States and Canada who have triumphed despite medical challenges. In naming Seth a champion, the Children’s Miracle Network praised his “creative imagination and witty spirit” that helped him rise above a 1,072-day leukemia treatment.

As the South Carolina Champion, Ewing serves as an ambassador for the 17 million kids treated each year at the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
