COLUMBIA, SC - August 16, 2012 - Wallick Investments, LLC, a South Carolina-based Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in managing investment portfolios with integrity and professional excellence, is proud to announce a rating of 4 out of 5 stars from Morningstar® for our WI Core Growth Separate Account 3-year performance. As of August 1, 2012, Wallick Investments, LLC is the only investment firm in the Midlands to have a Morningstar® rating, and in the state of South Carolina, Wallick Investments is one of only two firms with a Morningstar® rating.
Morningstar Separate Account Ratings™ are based solely on a proprietary mathematical formula which measures risk-adjusted performance and is recalculated on a quarterly basis. The ratings formula measures the amount of variation in an account’s quarterly performance, emphasizing downward variation and rewarding consistency. The top 10% of accounts in a category receive 5 stars; the next 22.5% receive 4 stars; the next 35% receive 3 stars; the next 22.5% receive 2 stars; and the bottom 10% receive 1 star.
